This week in Japan, Nintendo has been hosting special events in stores for the forthcoming game ARMS; Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was also playable. They had display units that showcased the neon yellow Joy-Con. Reportedly, this is the first time we’ve seen them out in the wild. You can check out some of the pictures below:

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Soundtrack Brings Its Composer To Tears

UK: Amazon Is Cancelling Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia Pre-Orders

Amazon UK are cancelling customers pre-orders for the Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia. Amazon have stated on an email to customers who did pre-order: “Our supplier has informed us that this item is no longer available.” The listing has also been pulled from the US Amazon website. France, Germany and Canada seem to have not been affected so far but it’s a good chance the respective Amazon websites will follow suit.

Shovel Knight: Specter Of Torment Coming To Wii U In Europe On May 11th

Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment has already released on Switch and elsewhere, but the game has yet to come to the Wii U or 3DS. While the release date of the 3DS version has yet to announced, Yacht Club Games have just revealed that the Wii U version will be available in Europe and Australia from May 11th.

Super Nintendo PlayStation Prototype Repaired By Fan

The Super Nintendo PlayStation is one of the most interesting stories in gaming history. Before their eventual fallout, Nintendo and Sony originally teamed up to make a CD-ROM version of the Super Nintendo. While the system never came to be, a few non-functional prototypes have appeared over the years. However, Ben Heck has just uploaded a video showing that he has actually got the system working. Heck is a famous hardware hacker, so it’s no surprise he managed to tackle this task, Check out the video below.
