Europe’s Best Splatoon Teams Go Head To Head At Grand Final In Paris April 1st

After six months of high-level play between some of the best Splatoon teams in Europe, the final moment of reckoning approaches: from 14:00 CEST on Saturday 1st April, the ultimate winning side will be crowned at the ESL Go4Splatoon Europe Grand Final in Paris. Not only will the players on the triumphant team walk away with all the glory, they’ll also each win Nintendo’s fastest-selling console ever in Europe: Nintendo Switch.

Eager Inklings can watch the whole tournament live online on Nintendo of Europe’s Twitch channel. Battling it out for Splatoon supremacy from 14:00 CEST on 1st April are:

  • Extermination (Germany) – reached the final match in four of the six monthly cups
  • BYE (pan-European team) – the first team to break Extermination’s unbeaten record, winning the October Monthly Cup
  • Rising Moon (France) – the only team to win two monthly ESL Go4Splatoon cups
  • Crème Fresh (France) – winners of the Gamescom 2016 Splatoon Showdown

Before the grand final takes place, viewers can get a sneak peek at the upcoming Splatoon 2, with a special exhibition match showcasing some of the new competitive tactics and techniques that await in this summer’s full sequel to the breakout original hit.
