Bitmap Books’ SNES/Super Famicom Visual Compendium Kickstarter Now Live

Bitmap Books have just gone live via their Kickstarter page for a SNES/Super Famicom Visual Compendium; a high quality, snazzy coffee table book, basically. They are in need of £80,000 for the project to become a reality but astoundingly they’ve just ticked over an impressive £1000,000 at the time of writing.

To get your hands on the premium book you’ll be required to pledge £10 which will gain you a PDF, £25 for a softcover book and £30 will get you the hardcover version.

Coming from their Kickstarter page:-

This latest book focuses on the Super Famicom in Japan and the SNES across North America and Europe, offering a visual snapshot of the best games, developers, box art and product design from across these territories. As the name suggests, the book is mainly visual; it won’t be a super-detailed insight into the SNES/Super Famicom, but more a visual companion designed to stir up excitement and nostalgia for this fantastic machine and its legacy of classic games.
